Armed Arab infiltrees from Egyptian territory today stole 300 sheep belonging to the Israeli settlement of Dorot, near the Gaza strip. The shepherd was tied up and kept prisoner in a cave for several hours, but was otherwise unhurt.
An investigation by United Nations observers unearthed the marauders’ tracks leading from the scene of the robbery to the Gaza strip border. Israel has demanded immediate return of the flock.
