B’NAI B’RITH PRESIDENT CONFERS AT STATE DEPT. ON IRAQ ISSUE
Henry A. Byroade, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, today met in his office for over two hours with President Philip Klutznick of the B’nai B’rith concerning the newly-announced plan to provide U. S. munitions to Iraq.
Mr. Klutznick, after completing his talk with Secretary Byroade, would not discuss details of the conversation, but did say it was “full, frank, and enlightening.”
