A huge crowd gathered last night to greet Mrs. Vera Weizmann, widow of the late President of Israel, when she arrived at the airport here on the first stage of her visit to Latin America.
She was greeted by delegations from all Jewish women’s groups, by Israel diplomats, headed by Minister Arieh Kubovi and his wife, and by representatives of the Argentine Foreign Ministry. Cheers greeted Mrs. Weizmann as she alighted from the plane and many bouquets of flowers were presented to her before she was taken to Buenos Aires in a motorcade.
