Joseph Serlin, Israel Minister of Health, arrived here this week-end for a visit and was received in an audience by Uruguayan President Andres Martinez Trueba. Also present during the conversation was Minister of Health Dr. Garcia Capurro.
Mr. Serlin later visited the Health Ministry and the Foreign Ministry, where he was presented to Foreign Minister Dr. Fructuoso Pittaluga. The Israeli Minister laid a wreath at the monument of Jose Artigas, Uruguayan national hero. The press and radio have devoted considerable space and air time to reports of Mr. Serlin’s arrival and activities here.
