“Nathan the Wise, ” well known German classic drama on a theme of religious tolerance, by Ephraim Lessing, was presented before an audience of miners at nearby Recklinghausen last night, and was vigorously applauded by the audience. The play is being performed under the auspices of the West German Trade Union Federation as part of its “Ruhr Festival,” and will be shown in 15 other mine and factory towns as well as in Rotterdam and Berlin.
