The Israeli Parliament passed on its third reading, today, an anti-infiltration law providing heavy penalties for Arab infiltrators into Israeli territory who are caught red-handed in acts of robbery.
The measure at first provided the death penalty for the crime. However, Socialist and religious labor delegates introduced a substitute, limiting the penalty to life imprisonment, and the amendment was adopted by a large majority.
