Premier Moshe Sharett today indicated that he opposes the introduction of restrictive legislation for small political parties, as demanded by the General Zionists, who insist that only those groups which receive more than 4.2 percent of the votes during general elections should obtain seats in Parliament. “Under existing conditions,” he declared, “there is no justification for introducing such restrictions.”
