The largest library ever assembled of source material on American Jewish history, consisting of documents, books and manuscripts, will be made available for study and display by the American Jewish Historical Society to schools, libraries and museums in communities throughout the country, Professor Salo Baron, president of the Society, announced. More than 10,000 volumes and thousands of other items “will become accessible as a central source of study during the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Jewish settlement in this country,” Dr. Baron said.
