A vessel with 490 Israel-bound North African Jews arrived at Marseilles yesterday, it was announced here today.
The largest part of the 570 Moroccan Jews who arrived in Israel last week-end have already been placed in settlements in the Negev and elsewhere in Israel. Houses, tents and food were ready for the immigrants a week before they arrived. Those who are in settlements have already begun to work at farming.
