The American Council for Judaism said today that Alfred M. Lilienthal who visited King Saud of Saudi Arabia, is not a leader of the organization. “Membership in our organization is open to any American of Jewish faith who subscribes to our principles, “the Council said. “Mr. Lilienthal qualities only as a member because presumably he subscribes to our principles. “
(An interview granted by King Saud to Mr. Lilienthal has been quoted by the Voice of the Arabs” broadcast over the Cairo Radio. The broadcast reported that “the King thanked Lilienthal” and pointed out that “Palestine is Arab and any future understanding should rest upon this fact. “)
