Samuel Bronfman, president of the Canadian Jewish Congress, today sent greetings to the American Jewish Tercentenary Committee in New York on behalf of the Jewish community of Canada.

“We share with the Jews of America, the most favored and fortunate of our world Jewry, an awesome responsibility in preserving the heritage of Jewish life,” Mr. Bronfman pointed out. “Unhappily, the European Jewish communities no longer exist as vital and creative centers.”
