Israel City, Founded by U.S. Jews, Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary

The city of Nathanya, founded by American Jews, began today to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its establishment. The city, named for the noted American Jewish philanthropist Nathan Strauss, now has a population of 30,000 and houses the major portion of Israel’s diamond processing industry.
