The current Franco-Israel trade pact was extended here last night for another year with the signature of a new agreement. The negotiations for the pact lasted about 10 days. The new treaty calls for France to purchase some 30 percent more Israel citrus fruit. It also provides for greater shipment of French machinery and manufactured goods to Israel during the coming year.
