The 31st annual convention of the National Committee for Labor Israel opened here today with reports by AFL and CIO leaders who recently visited Israel.
The convention will launch a drive for $5,000,000 for the Histadrut, Israel’s general federation of labor. More than 3,000 delegates from all parts of this country and Canada and from several Latin American countries will attend the four-day parley.
