Ambassador Henri Bonnet of France was tendered a farewell luncheon yesterday by the American Jewish Committee prior to his sailing for home tomorrow.
Senator Herbert H. Lehman, an honorary vice-president of AJC, presented gift to the retiring diplomat as a token of the American Jewish Committee’s appreciation for “his service to humanitarian causes and his contribution to American-French amity.” Irving M. Engel, AJC president, presided.
