Dr. Goldmann Reports to Jewish Agency on Zionist Work in U.S.

Dr. Nahum Goldmann, chairman of the Jewish Agency executive, reported to the Agency executive today on various aspects of the activities of the American Zionist movement, and on the United Jewish Appeal campaign. He also spoke of the Austrian-Jewish negotiations on Jewish restitution claims and said that the fate of the negotiations would be decided within the next few weeks.

Dr. Giora Josephthal, Agency treasurer, reported on the situation in the immigrant transit camps following the recent heavy rains and floods. He outlined plans for alleviating the condition of the immigrants in the camps and for eliminating the camps altogether.
