“porgy and Bess” Arrives in Israel; Per for Mances Sold out

The advance party of the international company of “Porgy and Bess,” including Mrs. George Gershwin, widow of the composer of the famed American operetta, arrived here today. All tickets for the only five performances of “Porgy and Bess” scheduled to be performed in Israel have already been sold and police are taking precautions to guard against ticket “scalping.”
