Former President Harry S. Truman declared here last night that the defense of men against attacks on human rights and freedom is to be found “in the faith we profess-the brotherhood of man and the Fatherhood of God.” He made his remarks in an address here before the Missouri chapter of the National Conference of Christians and Jews.

President Truman asserted that the unity of diverse groups in America was achieved by “holding to a concept which rises above them all-the concept of the brotherhood of man.”
