A 22-year-old American girl who is a dietician at Hadassah Hospital was seized by the Jordanian Arab Legion today at the frontier village of Beit Safaa. She is Grace Shevel, of Chicago, who works at the hospital in addition to attending the Hebrew University.
With two Israelis she visited Beit Safaa. The three were last seen being led off by Arab Legion captors. United States consular authorities said that Miss Shevel probably would be released shortly.
