A national conference of B’nai B’rith members in Israel was held in Gedera at which major problems facing the fraternal organization in this country were discussed. David Ben Gurion, who was scheduled to address the parley, withdrew at the last moment, explaining that his sudden decision to rejoin the Cabinet, as Defense Minister, had made it impossible for him to attend.
