Fourteen patients at the Foehrenwald DP camp hospital have called off a hunger strike, when German officials visited the hospital and promised to investigate the possibility of accommodating the entire group in a Munich institution when the camp is closed. The patients insisted on being together after the expected liquidation of the camp.
