Forty communities in the Catskill Mountain area and vicinity advanced more than $120,000 in cash yesterday to the nationwide United Jewish Appeal at a day-long Catskill zone conference held here, it was announced by Paul Grossinger, UJA area chairman and Dave Levenson, Ellenville area co-chairman.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
