Afl-cio Delegation Arrives in Israel; Celler Arrives in Tel Aviv

A nine-man joint AFL-CIO delegation has arrived here for a ten-day visit as guests of the Histadrut The group was accompanied by Gregory Bardacke of the Histadrut delegation to the United States. Members of the group are Anthony Ballerini, of San Francisco; Roy Brown, of Los Angeles; Jacob Clayman, of Columbus, Ohio, E.H. Williams, of New Orleans; George Cavdender and Joseph Appelbaum, of Denver; Frank Winn, of Detroit; Harold J. Gibbons, of St. Louis; and James Robb, of Indianapolis.

Rep. Emanuel Celler has arrived here as a guest of Magen David Adom, Israel’s equivalent of the Red Cross. He is chairman of the board of the American group which supports the Israel Red Magen David. Among those who welcome the Congressman on his arrival were United States Ambassador Edward B. Lawson and representatives of the board of the Magen David Adom.
