Dr. Aaron Steinberg, a member of the executive of the World Jewish Congress and head of its cultural department, today initialed a draft agreement regarding future cooperation between the WJC and Israel’s Ministry of Education. The initialing followed consultations between Dr. Steinberg and Ministry officials.
Dr. Steinberg also conferred with Minister of Education Ben Zion Dinur, the Jewish Agency’s education director Zalman Shazar, and a representative of UNESCO’s National Commission for Israel on matters of common concern in the cultural sphere.
