New Argentine President Pledges Religious Rights to All Faiths

President Maj. Gen. Eduardo Lonardi head of Argentina’s new government, pledged today to “respect” all religions in the country and to guarantee their rights. In a statement in which he referred to the freedom of worship, the Provisional President said: “It will be my constant purpose to keep unaltered the respect and the guarantee of rights of the church and religious conscience of everybody whatever his faith.”
