The trial of a 52-year-old Catholic woman charge with kidnapping and hiding a 14-year-old Jewish war orphan, Anneke Beekman, opened here and was immediately postponed until October 10, because of the illness of the women’s defense attorney. Accused along with her, are five others all of whom have pleaded not guilty. The girl, whose disappearance they are charged with abetting, has not yet been found.
