In the wake of reports of new and larger oil strikes in Israel, trading activity in the stocks of various Israel oil companies continued heavy on the American stock exchange today. Three companies–one domestic and two foreign–were among the listed leaders in volume of trading at the close of business yesterday.
The three leaders, their volumes and prices yesterday were as follows: Israel American Oil, 39,900, closed at 6-7/8 up 1; Pan Israel Oil, 24,000, closed at 3-7/8 up 3/4; and Israel Mediterranean Petroleum, 14,600, closed at 3-3/4 up 5/8.
