Jordan has nothing to fear from Israel as long as that Arab country does not embark upon any anti-Israel adventures, Kol Israel, the national radio declared today in a broadcast beamed to the riot-torn country.
In an address by King Hussein, who yesterday dissolved his British-controlled Parliament in the face of popular opposition to joining the Bagdad Pact for which Britain is pressing, the Jordan people were told that no settlement would be made with Israel until there-had been complete consultation and agreement by all the Arab states.
Commenting on this address, the broadcast warned the Jordan people that if they, like the Israeli people, wanted peace and stability they would be well advised to watch carefully their government’s actions lest it embark on a policy of anti-Israel violence as a way out of the political impasse in which it finds itself.
