Communist Chinese Premier Parrots Khruschev’s Anti-israel Charges

Premier Chou En-Lai of Communist China parroted today the allegations by Nikita Khruschev, leader of the Communist Party in the Soviet Union that Israel is creating tension in the Middle East.

Receiving a group of Egyptian newspapermen who are visiting Communist China the Premier said that “imperialistic powers are using Israel to increase tension in the Middle East through increase of Israeli influence.” He emphasized that his country sympathizes with the Arab refugees and assured the Egyptian journalists that China supports the Arab states “in their efforts to realize their independence and integrity.”
