A survey of employment discrimination encountered by Jews will be conducted during the month of March by the Jewish Employment and Vocational Service, in cooperation with the Jewish Community Relations Council of Philadelphia, it was announced here today by JCRC. The survey is part of a national study by the Jewish Occupational Council and the National Community Relations Advisory–Council.

Job applicants using the JEVS services during the month will be asked to fill out special questionnaires to determine whether they believe that they have suffered discrimination in employment because of their religion. Follow-up interviews to determine the exact circumstances in each case will be carried by volunteer workers of the community council and the local chapter of the American Jewish Congress.
