Impressive funeral services were held here today for Dr. Ernest Theilhaber, physician and sportsman, who died this week-end in Israel at the age of 71. He was founder of the Maccabi sports organization in Germany 50 years ago and is the author of a number of books about German Jewry, the best known of which is “The Decline of German Jewry.”
