For the first time in the history of the Jewish community of Cuba, a delegate will proceed from here to a World Zionist Congress. The delegate, Baruch Shames, former president of the Jewish National Fund of Cuba, was elected to represent the Zionist movement here at the 24th World Zionist Congress which will be held in Jerusalem next month.
