Executive secretaries of Reform Jewish congregations will open a national five-day conference here tomorrow to discuss new developments and ideas concerning the building of reserves, and planning for the future of synagogues, various problems connected with managing synagogue buildings, and other questions dealing with synagogue administration. The conference is sponsored by the National Association of Temple Secretaries.

The Association, founded in 1941, is an affiliate of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, parent body of the Reform Jewish movement in the U. S. and Canada. It provides persons in the field of religious administration a medium for exchange of information, as well as rendering service locally and nationally through the means of surveys and reports on trends in congregational life. At present the Association is preparing a “Manual on Synagogue Administration” which will cover every aspect of the business management of synagogues.
