The International Cooperation Administration today made known that development assistance totalling $63,000,000 is proposed for five nations Israel. Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Libya combined.
The amount of Israel’s share was not revealed. These funds “will help finance programs to accelerate desperately needed economic development.” Israel will also share with ten other Near Eastern and African nations in $34,000,000 of technical cooperation funds for economic growth, improving public administration health and education.
