The Israel delegation at the United Nations was instructed today to submit a complaint to the president of the UN Security Council against a statement by Egyptian Premier Col. Nasser of Egypt’s preparations for war against Israel. The statement, containing war threats against Israel, was published in the Egyptian press.

A spokesman of the Israel Foreign Office said today that the Israel complaint to the Security Council will emphasize the fact that Nasser’s statement constitutes a violation of the United Nations Charter and of the existing armistice agreement. The President of the Security Council will be asked to circulate Israel’s protest among the members of the Council, the spokesman stated.
