An Isaac Hamlin Earband House, a project established in honor of Mr. Hamlin, a Labor Zionist leader in the United States who recently settled permanently in Israel, will be opened early in July, it was announced here today. A large delegation of Labor Zionists from the United States and Canada will visit Israel to attend the opening ceremonies.
Mr. Hamlin who remains active in Histadrut work in Israel, has in the past few weeks participated in the inauguration of a number of institutions in Israel for which funds were raised by the Labor Zionist movement in the U.S. and Canada. Among these was the Hadera Trade School, established with the aid of the Toronto Amalgamated Union; a Histadrut building in Ramle, erected with the financial assistance of the Detroit Jewish community, and a medical dispensary opened at Neve Monosson, a small settlement near Lydda airport named for Fred Monosson, New England Zionist leader.
