Dr. Abraham G. Duker of New York was appointed president of the Chicago College of Jewish Studies, an institution for the training of teachers in Jewish religious schools. He has been active in the Reconstructionist movement in Jewish life. In 1950 he joined the faculty of the Reconstructionist School of Jewish Studies after having been a member of the Training Bureau for Jewish Communal Service.
