Reports in the press that the Israel Government and the Jewish Agency have discussed restricting immigration of Jews from North Africa were flatly denied in Parliament today by Premier David Ben Gurion.

The Premier was also asked in Parliament whether the government plans to take any action on the halting of Jewish emigration by the authorities in Morocco. He replied that this question could not be discussed at a public session of Parliament at the moment.

Meanwhile, a total of 3,300 immigrants landed in Haifa today, with most of them coming from North Africa. They were transferred from the ships which brought them to settlements previously prepared for them in various parts of the country.
