The United Israel Appeal campaign in Brazil got under way here last night at an affair attended by 2,000 leading members of the Jewish community. The featured speaker was Jacob Zerubavel, left Labor Zionist leader in Israel. The meeting was chaired by Israel Saubel, president of the appeal.
