The West German Government has announced the designation of offices to process applications for indemnification by Jewish refugees from East Germany or East Berlin whom the newly-amended indemnification law has rendered eligible for compensation payments.

Former residents of East Germany will have their application processed by the Indemnification Agency in Hildesheim, West Germany. The office having jurisdiction for former East Berlin inhabitants is the Indemnification Agency in West Berlin.
