The Czechoslovak Government has converted a former synagogue in the town of Kosice into a concert hall on the grounds that the Jewish population of the town is so small that it does not need the synagogue, it was reported here today. Reconstruction of the building, which suffered damage during the Nazi occupation, was completed only two years ago.
