The month of October was proclaimed Hadassah Month in New York City today at ceremonies at City Hall. The proclamation was signed by Mayor Robert F. Wagner. A New York City flag, hand-embroidered by trainees at a Hadassah vocational school in Israel, was presented to City Council president Abe Stark.
