Israel today, speaking at the conference charting the charter of the projected International Atomic Energy Agency, advocated greater representation for countries like the Jewish State which have shown themselves able to contribute to the peaceful uses of atomic energy through research, invention and technical skill.

On behalf of Israel, Arthur C. Liveran told the conference this afternoon that nations having achieved high scientific and technological announcement in nuclear energy should be given representation on the all important board of governors which will serve as the executive arm of the agency.
