1,200 Attend J. N. F. Chanukah Dinner; Send Plea to Eisenhower

An appeal to President Eisenhower to take the initiative in bringing Israel and her Arab neighbors to the peace table to resolve the present tensions was made at the annual Maccabean Chanukah Dinner of the Jewish National Fund of America held last night at the Hotel Commodore. The dinner was attended by 1,200 guests.

The principal addresses were delivered by Pierre Van Paassen, noted author, Mendel N.
