The sum of $243,000 was raised here last night for the Combined Campaign for American Reform Judaism at a dinner attended by 500 leaders representing 76 New York congregations. The campaign is seeking to raise $2,548,789 nationally, with the New York goal set at $537,500.
The Combined Campaign for American Reform Judaism is the national fund-raising arm of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, parent body of 536 Reform congregations, and the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, the oldest Jewish theological college in the United States.
