Dr. Henry Shoskes has retired from his position as overseas representative of United Hias Service, it was announced today by Murray I. Gurfein president of the agency. Mr. Gurfein said Dr. Shoskes would be available to United Hias for consultation.
Dr. Shoskes joined the staff of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, a predecessor agency of United HIAS in 1944 as an overseas representative. In that capacity he visited more than 50 nations throughout the world.
