Frank L. Weil of New York, nationally known leader of social welfare, religious, cultural and civic endeavor, was elected chairman of the board of governors of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion here today. The College-Institute, which conducts rabbinic schools in Cincinnati, New York and Los Angeles, is America’s oldest Jewish theological seminary.
