The Irish and the Jews alike gave an enthusiastic welcome this week-end to Robert Briscoe, Dublin’s first Jewish mayor, on his arrival for a three-day visit. A bagpipe band played “Wearing of the Greer” as Mayor Briscoe stepped from his plane at the Los Angeles International Airport where Mayor Norris Poulson greeted him.
