Robert Briscoe, Dublin’s first Jewish mayor who is now visiting the United States, last night made his first address for Israel Bonds in this country at a public meeting here. He will address five other meetings in various parts of the country calling for support of the current $75,000,000 campaign for Israel bonds.

Mayor Briscoe is also speaking for the United Jewish Appeal. In his speech last night here, the Jewish Mayor of Dublin said that capital funds provided Israel through the Israel Bond campaign have been a “life belt” in the abnormal situation of the Jewish State’s birth and struggle for survival.
