Some 80 percent of the 3, 500 Hungarian Jewish refugees registered with the United Hias Service here want to go to the United States to join relatives who will supply them with jobs and homes, the organization announced today. Despite difficulties in getting into the U. S. the refugees refuse to register for immigration to other countries.

Thus far, United Hias Service has assisted 9, 000 Hungarian Jews to get to a variety of countries. It hopes to send another 500 to Australia, Canada and South American countries by the end of next month. About 100 of the Jews are reported to have returned to Hungary.
